Using the latest version of the plugin and Firefox.
As soon as I hover of the settings and want to select “my account” the select hides. Its impossible to click it.

I need to remove the visibility of the plugin for screenshot purposes.
Unfortunately its very frustrating like this, had to uninstall it.

    Hi @phloo

I’m able to reproduce this behavior and consider this a bug indeed. For some reason when using firefox it removes focus on the menu when hovering over the select dropdown which triggers WordPress core to hide the menu again. Select options aren’t really usual within the toolbar so I doubt WordPress core will fix this issue but I will investigate a possible solution for this.

I’ve created a GitHub issue for this topic so please follow that for updates: https://github.com/JoryHogeveen/view-admin-as/issues/130

Closing this topic in favor of GitHub!

Quick update, I’ve found the issue and created a patch which will be included in the next release, see here: https://github.com/JoryHogeveen/view-admin-as/pull/131

You could also already download this patch and test it yourself if you want!

Hej Jory, thanks for checking and fixing this bug!

I can confirm, the dev version supports changing the settings with Firefox. There is an initial error “undefined” with a red icon after changing the settings but after a page refresh it’s gone.

    Hi @phloo

Thank you for the quick reply!
I can’t reproduce the undefined JS error, are you sure it’s coming from this plugin?

    Cheers, Jory
