Impossible to connect to admin panel

  • Helle just after i automaticly updtate to version 4.0 of wordpress here what happen to me:

    hen i try to login (<blog-url>/wp-login.php), i dont get an ‘incorrect password’ message but it goes back to the login prompt.
    I tried entering the wrong password and that did show me an error indicating incorrect password. Makes me feel like it is not a password issue.

    What do i do to access my blog’s admin screen? Help would be much appreciated.

    Ps: i already try this find on this forum:
    1. logout or logout with https://www.yourdomain.com/wp-login.php?loggedout=true 2. clear cookies 3. exit browser 4. make sure local firewall is not causing problem 5. login with https://www.yourdomain.com/wp-login.php 6. disable all plugins–

  • I have locked myself out of my wpadmin panel. I used my password which i know was correct. I have sent a message for them to email me with how to reset but i have not received an email. I think this may because i did not set up an email address within the panel for security alerts? I have no idea how to get in otherwise. PLEASE PLEASE can someone help me.
