impossible to customize

  • Not a good choice if you want to have and mantain a coherent visual identity across the site. Pages have a different layout (what’s the point?), difficult to edit or work around. I’m using the free version, but even so, it shouldn’t be so frustrating. Free themes are also meant for the beginner or the basic user. Upgrading to paid version should be encouraged with an intuitive use. (Let alone the issue with WP and the blog page customization, if you think the original purpose of wp was blogging). I’m using Astra with Elementor, and Astra comes with good and clean free templates, if you don’t need to customize them. As of now, I wouldn’t recommend.

    Templates:
    We’re glad to hear that you like our free templates. As you mentioned, these templates are built with the free version of Astra and Elementor, so you have all the freedom you need to customize them to your liking.
