Hi @saskiaherm – you can try switching the page to code view to see if there are any stray code remnants causing the extra space. Here’s a screenshot showing how to access code view:

If that doesn’t work, could you please provide a link to the page where I can see the issue directly?

    Thanks for your reply.

Please find attached a part of the code: https://saskiahermans.nl/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Columns-Button.png

The code within the red box is not being removed when I remove the button. The code is placed at: B620. Controlebiedingen – Online bridgeles en op locatie (saskiahermans.nl)

Thanks for the screenshot! I’m not seeing the button code remnants on the page; perhaps it’s in an area that requires a login.

I see a couple of issues in your screenshot of the code editor, the main one being that you’re missing an opening wp:button block tag, which is probably why you haven’t been able to fully delete the block. There also seems to be an unopened div tag.

Without being able to view the entire page I can’t be 100% sure this will work, but as a first step, you could try deleting the stray code remnants while in the code editor view. Please be careful to remove only the code I’ve circled in green, otherwise you could end up with even more unbalanced tags – and unintended results. Let me know how it goes!

Thank you. Deleting that part, does the job.

You are right that it is ‘behind’ a login. I can share credentials with you, but can I send you an e-mail or a private message?

    Great!

Forum guidelines do not allow volunteers to obtain private credentials, so that won’t be possible… but it sounds like the issue is now solved, is that right? Let me know, thanks!
