impossible to insert a video into a post

  • Hi,
    I’m having problems inserting a video into a post via the editor (i’m using CKEditor). Each time i try to add a video to a post using the “Insert with JW Player” button from the media panel i have the “send_to_editor is not defined” javascript error.
    Does any one have any idea what causes this error ? is there a known compatibility issue with CKEditor and this plugin ?

    I have not heard of a clash between this two plugins. If CK is disabled, does the issue go away though?

    Hi,
    Thanks for taking the time to reply to my question and sorry if i took to much time to reply back.
    I’ve kind of resolved my problem by adding the media-upload.js from the wp-admin folder by using the ‘admin_head’ filter. Now it seemes to work just fine. Apparently with ckeditor enabled some js files are not loaded witch can break some functionnalities of the plugin.

    I’m having problems inserting a audio into a post via the editor, too
    I have a clash between two plugins CKEditor 4.0 and JWPlayer 5.
    plz, help me fix it. Thanks

    Yep, if CKEditor disabled, it working.

    There is a clash then. We don’t really test against this editor though.
