    Hello,

It is impossible for me to launch a manual or even automatic backup from Jetpack VaultPress Backup I always have the following message on the backup button that remains grayed out

Unable to queue the backup because the storage is full.

I then increased my cloud space by paying for the option to be no longer 10GB but 110GB (the site is 1.7GB) and even by reducing to a maximum of 7 days of backup impossible to back up manually or automatically

I got this message by monitoring from https://cloud.jetpack.com/activity-log

“We encountered an error when saving your site. We are aware of this problem and are trying to fix it.

Failure to back up the archive”

I can clearly see my max storage which has gone to 110GB (I use 10GB) but when I want to manually launch a backup (as the auto backup does not work) the button remains grayed out and if I hover the mouse over it I get this message:

“Unable to queue the backup because the storage is full.”

While I still have 100GB of availability. Same problem if I switch to a backup plan by the week or month…. My subscription will be renewed soon, if it is not resolved I will be forced to cancel my subscription in favor of another brand.

This is not a problem with my host, I contacted him nothing to report, and the other jetpack services have no problem they work perfectly. I have changed absolutely nothing on my config or add a new plugin.

Hello there – I have made a small change on how Jetpack is trying to connect to your site and ran one backup from our side and one backup from the Jetpack Cloud dashboard – I confirm both backups went well. So I think the issue is not there now.

Could you please go to https://cloud.jetpack.com and to the site that you mentioned above and then go to Backup and start a new backup manually to check?

    Hello,

Thank you, it works perfectly now (automatic and manual)

For my culture, had I done a bad manipulation of my side or the problem came from your home and an adjustment was necessary as you did?

My fear is that if I monitor more the problem will start again in the future?

Hi there – I can confirm that it was a configuration on our side, so everything should be working as expected now.

That?said, I see that Jetpack has a connection issue. Jetpack requires a connection to your site, and it does this by connecting to this file:

… when we try to connect, we run into this error:

    • cURL error 56: Recv failure: Connection reset by peer

This might happen if something on your site is blocking our connection attempts, or if the server is not configured correctly. As a first step, please try reinstalling Jetpack, as described here:

If you cannot reconnect, we’ll need more details on your server setup. I would recommend following up on this on a private conversation. Please share any details using this form: https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?rel=support&hpi=1 and mention this forum discussion.

To get the details on you server setup, you can do this through the Health Check plugin:

Please install and activate the above plugin, then:

    1. Click on DashboardHealth Check.
    2. Click on Debug Information.
    3. Click on the orange Show copy and paste field button.
    4. Send us everything in the copy/paste box.

Please let us know if you’re unable to reconnect (include the Health Check debug information!), or if we can help with anything else! ??

    Hello,

I uninstalled jetpack and its extension (backup vault) then reinstalled everything, I disconnected jetpack (which was by default reconnect to the reinstallation) and then I reconnected it. Do you still have this connection problem on your side? Because my xmlrpc.php is well accessible by testing it at the end of the url of my site.

    Hi @academiciens

I tested the connection via xmlrpc.php and I can confirm that it is working as expected. I also see that backups are completing without issue.

You should be all set here, so I am going to mark this thread as resolved. In the future, feel free to reach out via email as Jetpack VaultPress Backup customers are entitled to email support.
