• Hi,

Now when we press delete cache, it’s returns to “/wp-admin/” but it should stay on same page where we triggered that action.

    Example:

“/wp-admin/plugins.php” should stay on plugin page & delete cache &action=delcachepage

    Thanks
    Nabil

  • I am not experiencing this, but I did notice that the “Delete Cache” toolbar option is still not present on mobile screen sizes. So, there is still no way to delete the cache from a mobile device, currently. Could this be fixed?

Any update on this? I am having the same issue. just links back to wpadmin

When I press “Delete Cache” of toolbar move to Dashboard and It looks like the page cache hasn’t been cleared.

    WordPress v5.8.3
    WP Super Cache v1.7.7

    Thanks

@mdnabilsikder – that’s something I’ll be looking into for the next release.

@hastibe – unfortunately I probably won’t have time to look into a mobile friendly version of this any time soon. Sorry.

@kanrininhiro – Here’s the same question as you and I suggested using the debug log to investigate what’s happening.

@donncha — I appreciate the response, though that’s disappointing (and a bit surprising to hear). I was under the impression that this plugin was supported by Automattic (i.e. a large company with lots of resources), but your response makes it sound like this plugin is a solo project of yours (or that Automattic has essentially abandoned significant support for the plugin?), and I would be curious to understand more about the relationship (or lack thereof) between this plugin and Automattic.

@mdnabilsikder @kanrininhiro – check out this PR where I changed the “Delete Cache” button into an AJAX link, so no refresh of the page required now.

@hastibe – we only have so much time to devote to everything we do unfortunately. This plugin works very well for most people but if you have any experience with making settings pages more mobile friendly I would love to get your help to improve it.
The Github repo for the project is at https://github.com/Automattic/wp-super-cache where you can submit PRs.

The development version has this change merged. Instructions here https://odd.blog/y/2o
