As I understand you feel like the checkout asks for too much information and you want to make it shorted, correct?
Maybe add a previous step to Register Users or Invited Users and If you are already registered you just need to fill the mandatory fields.
You can set it up so that only logged in customers can order.
This way, the customer can fill in their details (shipping, billing, even credit card) on their My Account area and they will all be filled in when they go to checkout.
To do that you can go to WooCommerce > Settings > Accounts & Privacy and make sure the option Allow customers to place orders without an account is not checked.
The option Allow customers to create an account during checkout will allow them to create a new account on checkout by filling the details. This way an account will be automatically created for them.
