• Right now we can select “inherit”, “Normal” (400) and “Bold” (700) as font-weight in Kadence Blocks. I propose to expand this selection to a full list:
    100 – Thin
    200 – Extra Light
    300 – Light
    400 – Normal
    500 – Medium
    600 – Semi Bold
    700 – Bold
    800 – Extra Bold
    900 – Black (Heavy)

    Hi,
Thanks for reaching out! From my understanding this is dependent on the font you’re using. Is this happening for all your fonts? Does it happen only with Kadence Blocks?

    Kindly,

I didn’t set font in Kadence Blocks. Only in my theme (GeneratePress)

When you use the font elsewhere on your site are you able to select a more specific style?

I guess the issue here is that in GeneratePress Typography I’m using manually uploaded font, so there is no way for any other plugin to know available weights.
Does Kadence Blocks have a filter that would allow me to override which font weights I can select in UI?

Not to my knowledge. One workaround would be to use CSS. Would that work for you? If so I would be happy to help with that.

Yeah I’m using custom CSS as a result.

    Hi, @rinart73!

If you select a specific font family within a block’s typography settings, all available font weights for it will be shown as options.

    Here’s a screen recording for your reference – https://share.getcloudapp.com/OAu8ZkJp.

Will this help with your requirement?

    Kind Regards,
    Karla
