Improvement ? Auto-detect if "Publish" or "Schedule" button
-
Hello,
It’s struck me just a few minutes ago. You see, I’m leaving on holidays for a week, and I’ve been preparing posts in advance, so that they get posted while I’ll be enjoying the sun and my family.
So, I write my posts, and then, in the editor window ( /wp-admin/post.php?post=41631&action=edit for instance), in the upper-right, I change the date to a future date, a few days ahead.
And then, just below the date, I’m shown the “OK” button to validate the changing of date.
As long as I don’t click that OK button, the big button to change the status of the post is Publish. In a way, this is NOT intuitive, not at all. I could NOT click OK, and click Publish, but that would have been, actually, a Schedule.
Couldn’t wordpress autodetect the date change through some ajax magic, and automatically replace Publish with Schedule ?
I don’t know if you see what I mean, I don’t even know if that’s feasable. But, still, that would be a neat feature ??
