• Hello,

    I had two questions:

    1) Can you put the form into the sidebar instead of at the end of a post/page?

    2) I’m noticing an issue with the cancel button that really hurts the plugin. After pressing Yes/No, you are presented with a feedback form and cancel/submit buttons.

When you press cancel it says “thanks for voting”. The cancel button doesn’t seem to cancel the feedback form back to the Yes/No vote.

Is this by design? If so, the cancel button appears to be useless. Why not have it take the user back to Yes/No? User seems to be locked at their decision once voting Y/N, but what if they made a mistake?

    Thank you for your feedback!

The cancel button does exactly what it is supposed to. It cancels the form and ends the query. A back button is not planned. At least not from me. If you have a good solution for this, feel free to contribute on Github. Anyone can do this.

You can rename the button though if the word Cancel causes confusion.

Regarding Helpful in the sidebar: You can use the shortcode here. But you have to pass the ID here, so Helpful knows which content is being targeted. The shortcode is [helpful] or [helpful post_id=”1234″]. 1234 would be the ID of the post you want to vote for.

Thanks again and please stay healthy!
