I would like to ask you a question about increasing the speed of work.
I read the recommendations for improving the import speed and did it.
At the moment, the average update time for 1 product is 1 second.
I am planning to add a lot of products. How can you speed up this process?
Do I understand correctly that if I choose a more powerful hosting, where there will be more memory and more processor cores, the import speed will increase? Or does it not affect?

    Hi @ilyapokrov,

There’s a guide here that explains how to speed up your import: https://gist.github.com/trey8611/72fec5969651d5272fcb85f99b09b8bb. If you’ve already followed that guide and you’re still unhappy with the speed, you’d have to work with a sysadmin to figure out where the bottleneck is in your specific environment.

That would only help if you’re actually hitting server resource limits during the import and that’s the reason for the slowness. If it’s something else, for example if you’re downloading images from a slow image host, it wouldn’t help.
