Imsanity for UPME uploads possible?

    I would like to have Imsanity resize pictures that are uploaded in customer profiles managed by the UPME (User Profiles Made Easy) plugin.
    UPME stores uploads in a folder called /uploads/upme/ that is not seen by Imsanity it appears.
    Can Imsanity be tweeked to work for UPME uploads?

    It actually would need to be the other way around – UPME should update their plugin so that it fires the wp_handle_upload hook and then it will work with any image processing plugins (including imsanity).
