    Hi Thomas,

You have an option to integrate the ad to the content of an article. This is great!

The setting is allowing us to choose “After which paragraph to insert the placement content.”

My articles aren’t consistent in terms of structure and paragraphs.
Would it be possible for you to allow us to choose any html markup and also having the choice between “before” and “after” for the insertion.

For example, for my blog, the best would be “before the 2nd H3”

H3 are the only thing that are consistent, I know I always have at least 2 of them.

It would be great to have those variables available:

    Markup > XXX (p, h3, h1…etc)
    Index > X (1,2,3,4,5,6…Etc)
    Position > Before/or/After

    Just an idea ??
    Thank you!

    Hi coco,
thank you for your suggestion. I have thought about something similar and already got it on my list – though your explanation tops mine ??
It is currently not within the top 3, but might come up in near future because I wanted to optimize something on the auto injection anyway.
    Best

    Hi Thomas,

Thanks for your positive answer! This would make a huge difference to your plugin. In-content / in-read ads are the most efficient nowadays (because of the sidebar ads blindness effect), so your auto-injection feature is top notch! ??

I’m quite experienced with ad servers and front-end dev. Happy to help where I can if needed.

    Thank you ??

Hi Thomas, do you plan to add this soon? Just wondering ??

    Hi coco,
I didn’t get to it yet, because this can be much deeper than one might think, especially when combining multiple elements (e.g. use paragraphs, OR headline 3 OR …)

However, would you be ok to choose just one html tag (e.g. paragraph OR headline 3 OR …)? I think I could implement this quite soon.

Hi Thomas, thanks for your quick answer. Yeah being able to specify 1 tag only would make a big difference. At the moment it’s based on the <p>, but if we could specify <h3> or <h2> that would be great. The “before” or “after” would be cool as well. On my specific case, the setting “Before the 2nd H3” would be the one I could use in all my articles with no exception. I hope this helps. Cheers ??

    Hi coro,
after being on the road for a few days, I just uploaded version 1.3.6 with the options you suggested. Would love to read your feedback.

hum, it seems that something strange is happening with the code that is generated by the plugin.

    Here is the config:

    https://prntscr.com/5j10i4

As you can see I’ve got 2 on-content injections. The first one is ok, but when it comes to the second one based on an H3, it seems that the plugin is adding some H3 markups to the html code.

    See this : https://prntscr.com/5j114w

I don’t have those H3 in my templates, they are created by the injection. Also the first one highlighted in yellow as no opening tag; then the following H3 opening tags have no closing tag.

Let me know if you need more details ??

I was able to reproduce the error and will fix it. But it won’t make the next release scheduled today.

I found some time and concentration to fix this. If there is any other issue, please open a new ticket
