• Hi,

Whenever I add an image to a post and then resize that image within the editor, the result is not shown in the actual post. When, for example, the uploaded image is 400 x 650 and I resize it to 300 x whatever, the editor will say it is that new size, but in the post itself it still shows as 400 x 650.
    Clearing cache does not help.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Difficult to see what exactly the problem is. Can you try if this helps. Go to the post. Select the image. You’ll see a pencil appearing somewhere on top. If you hover over it, it will say “Edit”. There go to: Size > Custom. And manually add the sizes you want.

Resizing your image only changes the size of the file in your database. It does not change the size of displaying it. So in your case I guess the image itself is now smaller in size, but in your post you still display it in that original size, which will result in a pixelated return.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Job,

I already did that. The thing is that I can perfectly resize the image in the editor and it also appears smaller when I resize it in the editor. It’s just that the changes don’t display in the published post. So what I see in the back-end is different from what you see publicly online.
