• hi, very great plugin, but i can’t to make it work in Menus…

I do everything like it says, but no luck…

For menu usage, use a custom link as your menu item. Enable “descriptions” located in the upper-right corner of “Appearance > Menus”. Place shortcode into the “description” field, use # for the URL, and create menu title of your choice.

    Thanks

  • having same problem

i am using elegant themes, divi, maybe this theme doesnt support this

i put this in the menu description and this worked. [google-translator]

i cant get it to just show the flag , it shows the language box , instead of the flag.

I am disappointed in the latest version of this plugin – whereas previously, this worked fine with a “add to menu” option – and now, this has been removed and I cannot figure out how to do this… PLEASE add this back in to the plugin ASAP! Otherwise, it is useless to me…

Hi everyone, I believe that most recent update to 4.0.5 should have menu translation fixed. Please let me know if you are experiencing issues.

JPWilkinson, please let me know if you have updated to 4.0.5 and if you experiencing issues with this specific version, because menu translation here should work.

I will help you directly if you still have problems.

    Thanks! Rob Myrick

thank you rob. is there a way to have just a few flags in the menu bar? it works nicely, just prefer a flag instead of a dropdown box . thanks. here is the site i am working on

    https://www.nerdsusantest.com/feravila/

    Very nice plugin ??
I would like to put flags in the menubar as well. But how?
I′m mainly using the Attitude Pro theme from Themeforrest and Genesis framwork childthemes.

    Thx in advance.

Hi Nerdsusan2, I can help with this:

Are you wanting the flags to be part of the actual menu? Or do you simply want flags to show up near the menu area?

The difference is that if you put the languages as menu items, you would need to add each language individually.

The above would require the premium version of the plugin: $15

    https://www.wp-studio.net

And you would also get all the future updates, which I continue to do of course! Also the design is better and there is more control over option in the admin panel.

Otherwise, I can just add the default usage of the plugin to display the flags you choose when you configure it in the admin panel. This would probably be just as good – so no pressure ?? I will do that for you no problems!

    Let me know – thanks!

    Moxtell,

The Premium version would handle flags in the navigation menu, but if you only want to show flags NEAR the navigation menu, I can help you do this using the free version.

The difference is that the Premium version allows the flag functionality directly in the menus (Appearance > Menus), whereas if I help you with free version, I place the widget next to your menu in one of your templates, which means it’s a little more customized.

Here is link to the Premium version: https://www.wp-studio.net

The Premium is version provides a bit more control over the options in the plugin, and also has a more elegant design with jQuery functionality. It does not operate all that differently.

The best value is getting more updates for free, in the future, and I like to update the plugin as much as I can.

You might need some help to configure it, but that is no problem because you can just contact me here if directly. I do imagine that you will be able to configure on your own though ??
