• Hey all,

I’m not exactly new to WP, but definitely still an amatuer. I have a new blog that I’ve built (www.ExploringUpstate.com) and I’d like to have a feature that I can’t seem to be able to make happen. I’m here looking for ideas from you folks on how I can make it a reality.

I’d like to have a Page in the menu as I currently do for “This Day In History” and when you choose that Page, it displays the current historical events that I have populated myself. There are two plugins that do this and pull historical events from a database, and one that allows you to populate your own data. The one that allows you to populate your own data is the one I’m currently using. Unfortunately, it will ONLY display the current day, and doesn’t allow users to skip ahead or back in time to a different month/day.

This current plugin would be great if it could do that, but without that function I’m just not satisfied. Does anyone have an idea on what kind of solution would allow me to do this? Preferably one that would be easy for a non-coding guy? ??

    thanks in advance…

  • Unfortunately coding is unavoidable if you want to do this.
Have you tried asking in the support forum for this plugin ?

I have been in touch with the developer who said it wasn’t a feature that he wanted to include. You think it would be worth posting and maybe another WP-er might have input?
