“In Progress” order action?

    Greetings and thank you for the Marketpress plugin and support forum! Is it possible to configure a new order action of “In Progress” that would send the customer an automatic email updating order status when selected, much like when order action is marked as “Shipped” and a shipment confirmation email is sent?     hope you’re doing well! ??

    I’m afraid that this will require some custom development on the plugin, so you’ll have to hire a developer to custom-make this for you.
    I wonder if the “Paid” status could be used for your needs though?
    Or are you also want to use this separately?

    We will look into customizing with a developer. PAID status is successfully automatic upon customer payment informing the customer of a successful order, but as we have a long order processing time, we were looking to initiate an additional order status option of IN PROGRESS to inform the customer that their order is being prepared.
