    Hello!

    For a default [events_list] and for search results (as defined in Event Manager Options > Formatting tab > Events > Events Page), one can display past, current and future events all in one list by choosing Event Manager Options > Pages tab > Event List/Archives > Default event list options > Event list scope > All events.

    Just above that, in the Default event list ordering dropdowns, one can change the order in a variety of ways. However, the chosen order applies to all events in the list which, when combining future and past events, is undesirable, because ideally, future events would be ASC (upcoming first) and past events would be DESC (most recent first).

    For displaying the [events_list] shortcode, one can get the desired result by breaking up the list into separate future & past lists. However, how can we achieve this (future events ASC + past events DESC) for returned searches?
