After (or while) setting this up this morning on a site it was once on a few months ago but then removed, it broke the site, became totally inaccessible in normal ways… I accessed the site via the new WP Recovery method, where it was shown that it was this plugin that was causing the breakdown… I deleted the plugin in the WP backend and the site was (and is) restored… I then reinstalled the plugin, but now it will not activate…

I then dropped this plugin’s DB tables using the Advanced DB Cleaner pro plugin, and also dropped some orphaned tables while I was at it… The site continues to do fine as much as I can tell so far, but I continue to not be able to activate the plugin…

I have deleted the plugin and reinstalled it several times, both via WP updates and via the cPanel… But it just refuses to activate…

This plugin is running on two other sites where it is doing OK, sites using the same theme and most of the same plugins… Wordfence is on all three sites…

The plugin is still installed for now… I would like to get this cleared up, because I’m concerned there is residual stuff related to its not installing that may cause issues down the line…

This site with the issue is in my account with you on your website… I also tried deleting it from the the account with you and reinstalling it, but that did not help… The plugin continues to refuse to activate… The site’s service number on your site, in case it is helpful, is #635976…

I am hoping this can get cleared up soon…

    Regards…

It may be helpful for me to add that this site is running WP Rocket, and is in Cloudflare…

    Hello @crzyhrse

I see no request from https://www.ashlandspirit.net.

It means the plugin is not installed properly or inactive or the access key is incorrect.

But this question is about the CleanTalk service.

Any premium or non-plugin questions, as per forum rules, need to be asked at [email protected] or you could open the Ticket in a private ticket system: https://cleantalk.org/my/support/open

We look forward to answering your questions there.

I have, since posting this support ticket, just a little while ago, restored the site to a backup made just a few hours before I tried to get CleanTalk set up on it and the issue occurred, so that is why you are not getting those request indications…

And if you have read my words above, then you know that I was not able to activate the plugin after recovering from the issue(s) it caused, so in any case you would not be getting the request under these particular circumstances…

So now I am about to post the same support ticket there in your private ticket system…

Please give me a minute and then please look for it there…

    Regards…
