    Hello

I have a WooCommerce shop, and the Flatsome theme installed.

I have spotted an issue where products that are in stock are not showing correctly in the product catalogue front end.

An example of this can be shown here:
    https://www.protoolz.co.uk/machinery/chainsaws/petrol-chainsaw/

Looking at the back end for this category – there are currently 20 products in the “Petrol Chainsaw” category, 12 of which are currently IN STOCK.

In the WooCommerce settings I have the option ticked to “Hide out of stock items from the catalog”

As you can see by clicking the above link no products are displaying and I would expect the 12 in stock products in that category to display.

If I untick the “Hide out of stock items from the catalog” everything shows, but I do want to hide the out of stock items.

Looks like some sort of filtering conflict but I can’t figure out what’s causing it – any help would be greatly appreciated.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello,

This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin. To determine what’s causing the issue, please temporarily switch your theme back to Storefront and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce. If that resolves the issue, then re-enable plugins one-by-one until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.

Hi Maykato – thank you for your advice.

I have followed your advice and switched the site theme to Storefront, and disabled all site plugins except for WooCommerce and the issue still persists.

    Any other advice?

This is is now resolved and can be closed.

I managed to ‘fix’ the issue by batch applying the “featured” star flag on all products, and then un-applying the “featured” star flag. This seemed to reset the product data in the product database and now the site is correctly showing the right numbers instock products in the relevant categories on the shop front end.

    Hi @weraisedigital

Interesting. Thanks for sharing the solution!

    Hi @weraisedigital

thanks for sharing your fix – I had the same issue and was really stuck.

Did you ever find out what the underlying issue was?

    regards

Hello, we’re having a similar problem. The fix was to mark a product as featured and then set it back. Now we’re seeing the correct product counts and actually seeing the product itself on the front page.

Does anyone have any idea what causes this issue?
