In version 2.6.6 it is impossible to save fields

Can’t change to add new fields.
We tried to roll back to 265 and it didn’t help.

Same here, doesn’t work with the latest WordPress version, can’t add more fields, there’s an error that even couldn’t be debugged with WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY true, I guess I should check log file

Is this problem solved or do I have to find another plugin?

I installed the previous version of the plugin 2.6.5 on WordPress, the latest version to date is 6.5.2. This combination works.

I had an old version, I completely replaced the old folder with a new one and everything works. This is a temporary solution, as I hope the developer will help. Disable plugin updates in the admin panel! Then unpack my archive and replace the “custom-field-suite” folder with a new one directly on the hosting. It is possible to do this through the admin panel Plugins, delete this plugin and download the zip archive – I have not tried this method. Therefore, it is better to follow my path, as it works. Mismo problema! por suerte tenía respaldo del plugin en otro proyecto, ojala el desarrollador lo resuelva pronto.
