    Hey!

    Trying to create a new shortcode using your code editor results in an endless chain asking you to reload the page. Constantly pops up the corresponding warning:
    Switching editor will refresh the page. Please save your changes before refreshing. Do you want to refresh the page now ?

    I am using the latest version of WordPress with classic editor by default.

    Hi @artyus,

    Yes, when you switch editor above information will be shown.

    It is just to inform the user to save the changes before switching the editor.

    When you click ok, the page should refresh the editor should be changed.

    I guess you want to use code editor as default ?
    I’m planning to introduce option in future release to set default editor.

    Thanks,

    Thanks for the quick response.

    But the problem is that after clicking OK:
    a) the editor is not choose;
    b) the window is reloaded;
    c) the same message appears again

    and so endlessly.

    If you choose ‘Cancel’, the message disappears, but the editor remains unselected.
    And when you try to save the record, an endless loop with a message starts again.

    Hey!

    The problem, as I understand it, is not in your plugin, which I successfully use on another site.

    The culprit is the Ultimate FAQ Solution plugin. With its connection, a bunch of problems in the editors generally come out.

    Thank you!

    Hi @artyus,

    Good to hear. I was sure that it must be some JS issue caused by other plugins. Glad that you found it out yourself.

    If you enjoy the plugin, please do rate !

    Thanks,
    Aakash
