Inactive Pagelayout

Hi,

for some reasons i can’t explain, the pagelayout area is inactive on english pages.
I can’t change the header for english pages which is a problem.

My language plugin is polylang.

I’m not very experienced with wp, so maybe I butchered some settings, but if you know what could have went wrong, I’ll be very grateful.
