• Hello, I’ve been using WordPress to host my webcomic site for several months now and recently got approved for Google Adsense. However, when I went to go activate the plugin I had installed last month, it didn’t show up anywhere in the Plugin menu. I installed another Google Adsense plugin and the same thing happened.

This doesn’t seem to be a general plugin issue as I can see other recently installed plugins just fine. It’s only these two Google Adsense ones that are giving me trouble as I cannot delete or activate them if they don’t show up on the Plugin menu. I looked at the Editor for the plugins and they show up there, so they have been installed properly.

Can anyone help me to get these plugins to show up again so I can delete/activate them?

If it helps, I use WordPress through Dreamhost, so there are no downloaded files or folders to look through.

An update on the situation. I have managed to delete the plugins from my Plugin menu, but now when I go to re-install them I get this message:

    Downloading install package from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/adsense-plugin.1.27.zip…

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the plugin…

    Destination folder already exists. /home/wp_3p9qpb/followtheleadercomic.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/adsense-plugin/

    Plugin install failed.

Is there anything I can do to solve this new issue? I can’t access FTP and the Dreamhost dashboard I use doesn’t use a Cpanel or anything like that to let me access the files. I am a bit of a newbie at all of this, so would it be better for me to hire some professional help or is there another way?
