    Hi @designbysue,

    Thank you for reaching out.

To integrate the Incarcerated Lookup into your WooCommerce site, you’ll need to use an API if it’s available.

However, I couldn’t find any public API provided by the NYSDOCCS Lookup website. Therefore, directly integrating it with your WooCommerce site might not be feasible at the moment.

You can achieve a similar result by creating a custom solution. For example, you can create a custom field on the checkout page where customers can input the inmate’s information. This data can then be used to verify the shipping address.

Please note, this kind of customization would require the help of a WooCommerce expert. As for the website you mentioned (emmaspremiumservices.com), they seem to be using a different ecommerce setting and not WooCommerce. You can check out the technology used here.

    I hope this helps.

Amazing reply – thank you – you have given me the info I needed. The site currently does collect the DIN number and the owner needs to manually verify the info. He was hoping to streamline the process. I really appreciate your checking this all out. (to be honest I really do not want to do this project for this particular client so now I won’t have to!)

    Hi @designbysue,

I’m glad to hear that the information provided was helpful.

He was hoping to streamline the process.

If the site owner is looking to streamline the process of DIN number verification, it might be beneficial to consider utilizing a custom function that automates this process. However, it’s important to note that this could involve some custom coding.

to be honest I really do not want to do this project for this particular client so now I won’t have to!

I understand that this project may not be the ideal fit for you at this time. You can join our WooCommerce Slack community (it does have a developer channel where you can ask any coding questions as the one related to this project: https://woo.com/community-slack/).

I’ll go ahead and mark this thread as solved now, but if you have a few minutes, we’d love if you could leave us a review based on the support you’ve received:?https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/woocommerce/reviews/.

Thank you and all the best.
