Include Blog in trail

    I would like “blog” to be included in the trail when viewing a post. E.g.

    Home > Blog > Interesting Post

    By default the trail excludes “Blog”, can I put it in somehow? Interestingly the desired behaviour is there by default for custom post types. E.g.

    Home > Custom Post Type > Interesting Post

    Many thanks for the excellent plugin, the amount of options is very useful.

  • That’s odd because it is there for me. I do have a “Blog” page set in Settings => Reading and it uses that page title. Do you have a page set there or do you latest posts?

    If latest posts I would suggest making sure it shows the home page perhaps since Blog is your homepage? Not sure if that would work though as I always use a front page option.

    Many thanks Andrew, the problem was exactly as you describe. I needed to set “Blog” as “Posts page” in Settings > Reading.

    Glad it helped! If you get a chance, be sure to check off “Mark as Resolved” under the reply box. As original poster only you can do this and it lets the plugin author and other people with the same issue know you got it fixed so they can click in for details!
