I am using the Hazel Grid to show posts from a certain category, however the same problem persists in all post grids I have tried using Ultimate Post Kit.

The site has over 20,000 Tags and about 100 Categories.

While editing in elementor, when I select Query => Include By: Terms and punch in the full name of the Category, it displays a screen full of tags that match the category name but no categories. I believe the problem may be that there are far too many tags matching the results so the list is exhausted and only shows limited results.

If i rename the category to some obscure name, it then shows up in the list, so not sure of the best way forward.

Is there are a way to exclude all tags from search and only search categories?

  • Dear paulshultz,

Thanks for reaching out and sharing the question with us. Yes, you are right. We have some limit to show posts. For that you do the right thing. We also request you to create other category if you needs to show your result posts. Just create category and select the category from include > terms.
We also have the Exclude option to hide any category or posts. Just select the Exclude option and you will get these options(?Authors, Current Post, Manual Selection,?and?Terms) to hide your posts or category. For more information, we request you to check the Query documentation from here. I hope you will get knowledge about how to exclude your posts.

Please try and let us know if you have any further questions.
    Thanks.
    Best Regards,
    Hasib Ali
