Include custom field for dynamic hidden extension

  • The purpose of my question to use the same Contactform7 for different pages and send the visitor who filled out the form an email with the text referring to the page he filled out the form on.

    I am using Contactform7 and have also installed the plugin Dynamic-text-extension. I managed to get the url of the page I came from included as one of the fields, but it is too long to use it as a field in the email, like ‘Thank you for your interest in BIKES’ (if he came from a page on bikes).

    Is it possible to include something in the reference to the contact form? So
    [contact-form-7 id=”6702″ title=”General contact form”]
    would then be
    [contact-form-7 id=”6702″ title=”General contact form” mailtext=Thank you for your interest in bikes”]
    and the how to retrieve this ‘mailtext’ as a field?
