• I installed this plugin in my site and worked fine when adding the shortcode in a post. However, I wish to include it in the Theme Files (like post.php) so it is automatically included in all the posts.

But when I’m entering the shortcode in there, nothing happens … the shortcode appears there without any function. Thought of googling some sort of solution, but to no success. I cannot find a solution to ‘translate’ the shortcode to html.

Therefore, I am asking whether it is possible to have some sort of html code to be included there (instead of the shortcode, which is not working).

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Having the same issue with shortcodes not being parsed when included in a theme file (single.php) using <?php echo do_shortcode(‘[rml_read_more]’); ?>

Also noticed that even in posts, if the shortcode is placed as the first thing, it also would not be recognised. It has to be placed after other content. I’m thinking this may relate to the issue with placing it within the theme file.
