    Hi there,
I have a question about including a phrase or word string in the search results that is made up of stop words.

Example I have a website where we offer reviews on games movies and books and if someone types in “The Last of Us” no results are returned because all these words are stop words however “The Last of Us” is a video game that we have reviews and trailers on so we need it to return those posts when a search is done.

So my question is is there a way to include the phrase “The Last of Us” in the index instead of un-checking (removing the stop words) as that will result in too many unnecessary results being returned.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Sorry, but it’s not possible (or at least very complicated). Removing “last” from the stop words might help to get results without getting much garbage.

Hi Mikko, I have tried that but it returns a large number of unrelated posts, no where near as much as if I remove all words so it might be my only alternative.

    Thanks

Next version of Relevanssi will include some ways to get around this in a fairly easy way.
