Include plugin changelog in email?

    It’s nice how you send emails notifying of plugin updates which displays the log.

    Would you be able to display the new version changelog in this email too? Would save me having to lookup that new version and what the changes were.

    We don’t actually send out those emails. I can’t find the exact page I am looking for, but in this Codex article it says that when an automatic update happens an email it sent. This email is built into WordPress. Easy Updates Manager does have an option to disable the update emails, but we are not planning on modifying the update emails any time soon.

    That would be pretty epic, but sorry, no that isn’t possible with the current WordPress codebase.

    WordPress sends out those e-mails, and there isn’t any way to hook into the text to add stuff to it.

    That is real shame ?? surprised there’s no way to capture the changelog of a given plugin and send that in the email too.
