    Hi there!

I’m running a website for an artist agency – classical pianists, to be exact. We have several post types, such as concerts, press articles, artists and news.

Currently the post type name isn’t registered in a search. So if I search for ‘concert+volodos’ (Volodos is the name of one of our pianists) the concerts don’t come up because the word ‘concert’ isn’t used in the text or title. -and that’s because it is actually a piano recital (a type of classical concert).

However, the post type is called concert. When my guests type in concert, I should really concerts to come up ??

How can we get this done? PS I have a developer who can help me.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

This is not the feature yet.

The search query does not search into the post type name. This is because we can select the post type in backed and you can have multiple forms on front-end, each for post type. e.g. A search form with title “Search for concert”
Please see https://wpes.secretsofgeeks.com/settings#custom-setting to create search forms.

Let me know if this works for you!

    Thanks
