Include the clicked link in browser’s address bar

Thanks for the great plugin, just what I needed! I have a question related to this – when the URL changes dynamically and is then shared, it doesn’t take the user to the popup, but rather to the post page itself. Is there a way to make sure that if the URL that changes is shared, it will appear as a popup?

@samuelstacey There’s not a way to do that because the popup has to be triggered from some other page than the page itself.

Theoretically it would be possible if you someone specify that a particular page is a popup only page. Then when you send someone by link to that page, WordPress redirects the user to another page (home page or otherwise) and then triggers the popup. However, this would be slow (because of the redirect) and just generally doesn’t make sense.
