Include Twitter handle mention when tweeting

    That should normally working if you have the correct meta tags on your site:

    meta name=”twitter:creator”

    The javascript looks for that specific tag and than show a “via @twitterhandle” if there is enough space left in the tweet.

    Hi! Thanks for the quick reply.

    OK, I found the issue – my site isn’t using that meta tag (it uses twitter:site). I’m looking into how to add “twitter:creator”, but you may consider using twitter:site if twitter:creator isn’t present.

    Yups I see the issue, somehow sometimes it is not really detecting it indeed. Am thinking of taking the code out and letting you enter your details in a simple backend system so it always works. Potential other stuff in there would be your own URL shortener details etc. so you can more easily track what is being shared..
