hi, i’m having issues with (probably auto-updated today) WP Activity Log.

    on main website:

Warning: include(/.../wp-content/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/vendor/composer/../../classes/Upgrade/Upgrade_43000_To_44400.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /.../wp-content/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/vendor/composer/ClassLoader.php on line 444

    on admin pages:

Warning: include(/.../wp-content/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/vendor/composer/../../classes/Upgrade/Upgrade_43000_To_44400.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /.../wp-content/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/vendor/composer/ClassLoader.php on line 444

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /.../wp-content/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/vendor/composer/ClassLoader.php:444) in /.../wp-admin/includes/misc.php on line 1380

looking at files in server, i see that .../wp-content/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/classes/Upgrade/Upgrade_43000_to_44400.php exists with chmod 644 tho.
for now, i’ve disabled WP Activity Log

    Hello @albirew

Thank you for using our plugin.

I am sorry to read about your issue. If you deactivate and re-activate the plugin, does the issue persist?

If it does, can you please let me know what version of WordPress and PHP are you running? Also, from which version of WP Activity Log have you upgraded?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi and thanks for your plugin. it saved some people from being blamed in place of others =)

deactivate/reactivate the plugin has been the first thing i tried before trying to reach here, and unfortunately it didnt worked.

WP is 6.0 (latest release) and PHP is stuck to 7.4 on this website because some plugin has not been updated for php 8.0+

i don’t know witch version i upgraded from since plugin upgrades are automated since some time now

    Hello @albirew

I think we know what the issue is. Can you please:

    1) Uninstall the plugin
    2) Make sure all files and the plugin directory are deleted (/wp-content/plugins/wp-security-audit-log)
    3) Reinstall the plugin.

P.S. the logs and settings will be retained upon uninstalling the plugin.

That should solve the problem. This is occurring because in some earlier versions of the plugin we had uploaded the file “Upgrade_43000_To_44400.php” with different capitalization (that was a mistake) and in some cases the old version of the file is still not overwritten.

Can you please advise if this helps solve the issue?

That did the trick, and logs were kept, many thanks =)
