    Hey,

Yep, there’s a good reason for that – this plugin was built from the outset to work around themes that didn’t enqueue their stylesheets properly.

Since Bootstrap is designed to be a foundational CSS layer, we’ve hard-coded it to be the first CSS include for all pages, without having to worry about crap themes.

But you raise a good point – the CSS should be SSL whenever the site is SSL. If you enable the CDNJS option, you’ll get SSL as well as any extra performance boost from that.

In the next release, I’ll try to ensure the plugin adopts SSL where appropriate.

    Thanks,
    Paul.

    hey Paul,

thanks for the reply. I’ll check out the CDNJS option. in the meantime, happy to pass you the code I use to switch SSL when required if you like.

also, really fantastic plugin. I haven’t looked over all of the work you guys did on the admin side but what I’ve seen so far is really well-thought out. kudos.

    Hey,

Yea, I’ve used the ssl stuff before so I have an idea – but if you wanna pass along what you have anyways so I can get the best of both, drop me a mail with it sure to [email protected]

Glad you like the plugin… we’ve really tried to make this easy to use and work well for most. Lots of positive feedback so far so we’re going along the right lines so far.

Thanks for the encouraging feedback – if you can add that to a nice review for the plugin, that’d be awesome! ??

    Cheers!
    Paul.

    Heya,

Actually I just reviewed the code and I had already put in SSL work already.

The problem is that I put in code to optimize the loading of the page by effectively caching the header CSS that is included.

To clear this cache, just go into the plugin and click to save the settings.

This will wipe the cache. My guess is that you had it running, then switched to SSL.

Try that and let me know what you find.
    Cheers,
    Paul.
