Includes function.php error

  • Recently started getting this error can’t track down where it is originating or how to fix. Any help is appreciated

    PHP Notice: Function is_category was called incorrectly. Conditional query tags do not work before the query is run. Before then, they always return false.   • Did you take a look at the linked article? You could activate the debug mode in WordPress, then you should be able to see in the debug.log file exactly what the cause of this note (which is not an error) is.

    Alternatively, you could deactivate all plugins and then reactivate them one by one and see when the hint appears again.
