Including a custom set of HTML PHP pages in a WordPress site

  • I have currently set up a custom database management system, with its own domain and hosting. This system consists of a select group of PHP and HTML documents to add and view information in a database.

    How would I go about integrating these HTML + PHP pages as a ‘project’ within WordPress? Say that I have a link in the WordPress site for ‘Database Management System’ and want to envelope the corresponding group of documents in the existing WordPress site. Would I need to create a folder with the documents and install them into the WordPress installation directory?

    Any help would be great, thanks!

    If you want to simply add anchor links to the Database Management System then you can keep things separate and install your system in a new directory.

    Keep things clean by using a new DB etc.
