including html in excerpt?

Have you already had a look at the corresponding function? It says that HTML tags and graphics are stripped from the excerpt’s content in case you do not provide an explicit excerpt to a post. Does that help? Just try experimenting with the excerpts and I’m sure you’ll find out how that works.
