including links?

  • I just got WP working after I stupidly botched my upgrade from b2 (very embarrassingly too).
    Anyway, the way I use it is have a basic template for my entries that saves to a seperate php file. I then include that file in my main index.php page because it makes changing the layouts much easier.
    My question, is it possible to call the links from the link manager in a similar style from my main index.php page? Or can they only be in a main WP template?

  • If it works for your entries I don’t see why it shouldn’t work for your links. You can call links or archives from any php page as long as it includes the WP header code.
