Including RSS feed in main column of static front page

  • I’d like to create a static homepage on wordpress where I can feature (via RSS) the latest posts from my blogger blog. So far I have only been able to find RSS widgets for the sidebar but I would like my posts to go in the main column of my front page.

    I know once I start posting on wordpress the default homepage will do this automatically. Eventually I will migrate the whole blog over to wordpress- this is just a bandaid solution.

    Any help is much appreciated! Because I was self hosting on blogger I spent a lot of time with html – I’m new to php/css!

  • I’d like to find an RSS widget that actually works. I’ve tried countless widgets to appear in the side bar, even with different skins, but none of them want to show themselves let alone work.
