Incognito/Private Session won't show all Comments of a Post

  • This is really strange. Perhaps someone could explain it.

    I just changed my WP install to show ALL comments on a post. So, it does shows all comments, whether I am logged in or not by the way, except when I start a Chrome Incognito Window or a Safari 8 Private Window, in which case it only shows the last 17 comments (versus 700+); and then also, clicking on “Previous Comments” brings up no more comments.

    Why would a private browsing session do this?
