Incoming Links

  • I hope I did not overlook a post which contains an answer.

    Here is my question. I have a Nevis, West Indies based blog at https://www.nevisblog.com using Worpresss 2.03, and while I show 3 incoming links, I show NO incoming links form MY other websites which I thought I linked from. I am using a link format of just linking the URL https://www.nevisblog.com Is this correct or should I be linking to a particular post or the RSS feed itself. Technorati only shows 3 incoming links….none of the links are from MY websites

    Hope this question is not too mundane for you old timers.

    Correct, the dashboard only shows 3 incoming links…none of which are fom my 10 or so blog related sites. I guess what I was asking is how to create a “properly” formatted link form one of my websites to my blog. Is is just like any other URL link, or do I link a post, or a feed, etc.. I have scoured the web and groups for guidance on ths topic to no avail, but I guess I must be using the wrong terminology in my searches.

    Technorati is what finds those links displayed in your dashboard. Visit: https://www.technorati.com/ping and put in the address of one of your other blogs. Once technorati reads it, and finds the links, it will eventually update your list with those new links (it takes a day or two sometimes).
