On the page that I indicate I have added the Unfold widget, from Jet Tricks (Crocoblock), on the home page and on the about us page.

In the section where I use it, if Complianz is not active, the “Open” button is pressed and the content is displayed. When the “Close” button is pressed, the content is refolded.

However, when I activate Complianz, the content does expand when the Open button is pressed, but once expanded it does not change to “Close” and if the button is pressed, it does not perform the action of rehiding the content.

Is there any configuration with which I can solve this problem? If not, I will have to use another cookie plugin.

    Thank you!

    Hi @nlmegias,

Thank you for raising this incompatibility. I can see the issue appearing on your site. Surprisingly the problem persists when I apply Complianz safe mode, which effectively disables the cookie and script blocker.

I have reached out to Crocoblock to receive a developer’s license for the JetTricks plugin, so I can set up a sandbox to reproduce and debug the issue.

We’ll get back to you as soon as we know more.

    Kind regards,
    Leon

    Hi @nlmegias,

It’s the integration for Ultimate Addons for Elementor. It uses a frontend init method, which is not that pretty, but the only way to make Google Maps work with Ultimate Add-ons for Elementor.

If you’re not using the Google Maps block from UAFE, it’s safe to disable it.

If you are using it, we can see if we can disable it on all pages but the Google Maps page.

    regards Aert

    Hello!
I don’t quite understand what Ultimate Addons and Google Maps have to do with this problem.

What fails are neither Ultimate Addons nor Google Maps. Only Crocoblock’s Unfold fails, and only when Complianz is activated. If Complianz is disabled, Unfold works correctly.

Anyway, since I’m not using that Ultimate Addons widget, I’ve taken the opportunity to disable it.

But the problem has nothing to do with maps or Ultimate Addons.

    Hi @nlmegias,

I understand the confusion. The Ultimate add-ons widget is not the issue, but how Complianz handles the Ultimate add-ons integration, which affects the JetTrick element that work together with Elementor.

To make it even more complex, if I reproduced it correctly, it only happens when you consent on the cookie banner.

This will initialize a script so Ultimate add-ons will work correctly, but a side effect is that this script will break functionality from JetTricks, as it uses the same initialization.

Unfortunately, there’s no other way around this technically. But if you’re not using Ultimate Add-ons, specific to Google Maps, you only need to disable the integration in Complianz under Complianz -> Integrations.

You can use Ultimate Add-ons without issue afterwards. regards Aert

    Thanks for the explanation.
I have applied what you recommended and, effectively, the problem with Unfold has been solved.

But a table of contents that I had made with Ultimate Addons has disappeared. I have activated the integration again to check, but it does not solve it. The widget has been removed from the page.

    Hi @nlmegias,

Complianz does nothing with the widget itself, but I remember this from an earlier message:

“Anyway, since I’m not using that Ultimate Addons widget, I’ve taken the opportunity to disable it.”

    Hope this helps,
    regards Aert

Hi, yes, I disabled the Google Maps widget that comes with the Ultimate Addons plugin for Elementor.

I did not disable the Ultimate Addons plugin. Disabling the plugin would not cause the data table to be cleared, but not to be displayed, as happened when I disabled all plugins except Elementor and Jet Tricks to see where the incompatibility issue was.

However, if I had disabled it, the timeline widget would also have stopped showing, which it did not.

Anyway, I’ve redone the table from scratch and I’ll be on the lookout for updates that fix this problem permanently.

    Thanks.
