    Hi there

I’m writing because Yoast has problems with Jetpack when uploading a post with an image through Jetpack. The problem is that it does not detect in yoast-seo-meta-tag the og:image:type property nor the og:image property and it detects as if it were a post without an image, when in fact the post is accompanied by an image. But as I have commented, all this happens when an entry is uploaded to the web through the Jetpack APP.

Also comment that if I go from the web and not from the app and I update the content, the og:image and og:image:type properties are added.

    Yoast version used: Version 20.2-RC3

Also comment that I have tried and consulted before writing if it was a problem with other installed plugins and it turns out that it was not, it is how I have described the problem.

The affected domain in the case is: lesnoticiesdensergialarcon.site

    I hope a solution.

    Hello @sergialarconrecio

Thanks for reaching out regarding your og:image. I can confirm the tag is missing on your homepage. Do you mean that you are setting a featured image for your homepage via the Jetpack app? Can you walk me through how to replicate this?

Comment first that not only happens on the home page, but also in the articles that are written with an accompanying image.

Ara I explain how I reproduce so that it is understood why it happens. I open the Jetpack application on the Android mobile from the latest version of Jetpack, I write the article and then I go to post settings and select the category and tags, I write the abstract and then select the image that has the format in jpg, I hope that go up and to finish I give you to publish the entry.

    Hey @sergialarconrecio,

    Thank you for your reply.

If you were to publish from the Jetpack app directly, it might just be that Yoast SEO hasn’t scanned the content and our plugin hasn’t run on the content to output the right details. If you would publish an article on the app, and then go and edit that post in your WordPress dashboard on your computer and just update the post, does our output include the image then?

On another note: you said in your opening that you are using 20.2-RC3 – please know that we don’t recommend running release candidates of upcoming versions of Yoast SEO on a production site.

If I edit a publication that has been published from the jetpack APP directly from the web from a computer and without modifying anything, just press the update button, the og:image and og:image:type parameters are added
