• We are currently experiencing an issue with adding images using WP Offload Media and an S3 bucket. Although the images can be successfully loaded into the media library, we are encountering problems when attempting to add them using the Brizy page builder. Specifically, the images display a quick loading animation but do not get attached. It occurs when rewrite media files are turned ON.

    Hi there!

WP Offload Media Support Team here, Thanks for reaching out with your query we would be happy to assist.

I’m afraid we do not have any experience with Brizy Page Builder however based on your description of the issue, it seems the rewriting of the URL is what’s causing this.

WP Offload Media relies on several standard WordPress filters to be able to rewrite local media URLs to cloud storage URLs in displayed content.

It’s possible that Brizy Page Builder does not use standard WordPress mechanisms for saving and displaying their custom content which causes an issue with our plugin.

Do you have Remove Local Media enabled? I think what’s happening here is that once the file has been offloaded and then removed from server by our plugin, Brizy editor may still be using the local URL which would cause broken images.

An option here would be to disable Remove Local Media and then re-upload the files.

Otherwise, please reach out to their support team if their site builder uses those filters. If not, you may need to ask them if their plugin could try and use the default WordPress hooks.
