Incompatibility with Beaver Builder

    Hey,

    We currently have problems with LiteSpeed cache in combination with the Beaver-Builder plugin. We had to disable “JS Combine”, otherwise the Beaver Builder wouldn’t work at all. We assume that the problem lies in the execution order of the js.
    If necessary we could live with deactivating “JS Combine”, but there is another problem with “JS Minify”. As soon as you open Beaver Builder, all javascripts seem to be minified again and again. This is a problem, because Beaver Builder loads more than 100 javascripts…
    The next time you open it, the javascripts are minified again. This takes about 1m – 1m 30s…
    We did not find a hook or similar in the code and no option to prevent this in the settings. A possibility, that the scripts are not minified and combined, if you are logged in, would be enough for us.
    Is there any possibility here?

  • Hi @cryke, for the JS Combine issue you can follow this instruction to find out which JS should be excluded.

    For the JS Minify issue, we’ve tested with Beaver Builder Plugin and it’s running smoothly with JS minify. Can you try to disable other plugins to see is the compatible issue is between LiteSpeed Cache and Beaver Builder?

    thank you for your answer.
    I disabled all plugins and the javascript errors were still there. We are using the Agency version of Beaver Builder, I think this will be the difference.
    I found the setting “URI Excludes” in the Tuning tab, which solved the problem. Here I entered “fl_builder”, because this string always occurs in the URL, if you edit pages with the Beaver Builder.

    Hi @cryke, thanks for the update. We also tried with Agency version but still working fine. Please keep the fl_builder on URI Excludes as a temporary solution.
