Incompatibility with Groups plugin

    I’m using the Coming Soon Pro plugin on a site (https://type-academy.co.uk/) for which I’m developing subscription functionality using the Groups plugin, however when I try to activate the two plugins at the same time I get a server error.

    It’s causing me headaches as I need the groups functionality but I also need the coming soon page while the site is being developed.

    I assume this is something to do with the way Coming Soon Pro interacts with the admin user role.

    Is there a fix for this problem so I can display a coming soon page while developing with Groups? I’m working on a client’s slightly dodgy hosting so I’d rather not develop locally and then upload everything as that just breaks the site.
