Me again – sorry, feel I’m taking up a bit of your time on this, so there is no rush or anything here. But the following is another plugin which does not work happily with yours yet.

    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/invite-anyone/

It is a buddypress compatible plugin that allows users to invite others to join the website. The invitation email gets sent out no problems, but unfortunately the URL gets redirected to login – when it really should allow you to register for the site. The URL that is being redirected it the following, so I presume this URL just needs to be added to a list of accessible URLS that aren’t redirected?

    <url of site>/register/accept-invitation/<email address of invitee>

    happy to test if necessary

  • Yes, you are correct. There are a lot of plugins that jonradio Private Site needs to make special provisions for.

I had already been thinking of creating a more consistent way of handling this need. Without taking a major performance hit.

Yeah, I guess perhaps some kind of user mangeable list on the admin side?

So you can add exception URLs perhaps on each line or something similar?

It’s impossible for you to be managing all exceptions as they come about…
